I think black marriages more acceptable now, especially if they have a formal marriage.

I do not believe that these standards are applied, with the exception of the whites. I went to a wedding, and most women wore black - there was a formal marriage.

Red is also acceptable if it is within reasonable limits. In other words, you obviously do not want to stop using a very low-cut, fire-red, sequined mini-dress.
Basically, your goal is not to outshine the bride. If it were me, I would move away from over-fat, super bright, flashy, bright clothes, "shouted at me to stay!"

I would stay away from colors that you mentioned, and creams. You will find a color you like more. People use the cream, but runs the risk with the color of the bride, if she knows better than a cream. Some women do.

You're right, not with white for the wedding. They told me to try in order to stay away from black, but I see the women getting darker when there is a wedding night.
Since you do worry about your clothes, I guess you do not choose something too short or too low a threshold. You look great! I hope you have a wonderful time.
